I'm glad GOD are tag champs.

Keep them bums and their stank away from the glorious G1.

Chase and Yujiro are more entertaining than those one note clowns.

Watched about half of that Briscos/Rush/Dragon Lee match and was bored to tears, looked down and there was a link to Bryan/Joe vs Kenta/Marufuji :blessed: The physical differences between the teams 13 years later is crazy. Joe is bigger but looks more fit today, Bryan is in slightly better shape today...then you look at KENTA being just a ball of muscle, everything he does is so fast and has such a snap, and you see him today with the middle age spread, multiple steps slower, has regularly struggled to hit That Knee That Beat John Cena in every NJ match so far, hasn't hit the G2S clean yet, jiggly chest, the horrible shoulder scar. And Marufuji was swoll on that puro bulking diet where there is no definition, just puffy bulk, his arms were literally double the size they are now, triple the size of his noodle arm. :francis:

The match is rad, btw. Classic chippy puro tag to set up the singles matches that probably happened the next night. Joe vs Kenta must have been a war.

NWA Champion Nick Aldis is no longer advertised for the 8/9 Ring of Honor Summer Supercard event in Toronto as Ring of Honor and the National Wrestling Alliance will not be working together going forward, PWInsider.com has confirmed.

NWA Vice President Dave Lagana, who had been producing all of the ROH pre-tapes over the last seven months, finished his commitments with Ring of Honor this past weekend as well.

PWInsider.com is told that the decision was made for each promotion to go their separate ways and that NWA President Billy Corgan intends on putting all his energy towards producing a weekly stand-alone NWA series later this year once he completes the current Smashing Pumpkins tour.

Sources close to each promotion have stated that they have parted ways on amicable terms and the door is open to potentially partner down the line.

The two companies partnered earlier this year on reviving the Crockett Cup, which was won by PCO and Brody King, who remain the NWA Tag Team Champions.
