PWTorch has confirmed that ROH wrestler Silas Young is expected to sign with WWE in January once his ROH contract expires at the end of December. Young, a multi-time ROH World TV Champion and a valuable core roster member capable of wrestling up and down the card, recently announced in an interview with Wrestling Inc. that his contract expires at the end of December and discussed his pending free agency.

Ring of Honor Champion Jay Lethal has signed a new deal with the company, PWInsider.com has confirmed with multiple sources. Lethal's current deal was set to expire at the end of the year.

Lethal, 33 years old, is currently in his second ROH title run and has held the Championship more total days than any other competitor in company history. He is slated to defend against Cody at the 12/14 Final Battle PPV at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City.

Lethal, with the exception of the time period he was under contract with Impact Wrestling, has been with ROH dating back to late 2002/early 2003.

Ring of Honor, as I noted in a PWInsider.com Elite audio last week, is currently working to sign a number of talents who's deals are slated to expire at the end of the year and have been in "seek and sign" mode, working towards bringing in new talents to the company.

Meltzer said their bringing in Mark Haskins to work US dates at some point too.

Honestly I'd probably lose some respect for The Bucks, Daniels and Kaz if they all just left ROH in the dust for that new promotion they're making. After all the years the ROH has looked out for them

I could see Silas having a better career in NXT than he did in ROH. He's a hell of a talent. Good to see he's getting paid.

Lethal's been training since 2000...and he's only 33. DAMN. Dude's been wrestling he was 15??? No wonder his ring IQ is so high. Dude's been doing this shyt since he was a baby. :wow:

They're bringing in Haskins. That's the guy Lethal defended against in England this summer. Hell of a match. Dude is good.

Bullet Club and SCU are starting their own shyt??? If accurate, i can't hate on that. I'm a ROH stan. But I'm always gonna be for more wrestling. And you would think those guys would do it w/ high quality.

To the guy who asked about what Global Wars matches he should watch:

All the Gresham matches...except for the Toronto match w/ Flip Gordon.

The Lowell main event....the 4 corner tag......FIYAHHH. Maybe the best match of the entire event.

And Jeff Cobb-EVIL. :wow::wow:......brehs...... That Jeff Cobb-Shane Taylor fight was fire....but that Cobb-Evil was TREMENDOUS.

And Taven's fighting Dalton Castle @ Final Battle. Winner gets Jay-Cody winner. I can't see them putting the real belt on Taven. They probably just have Taven in the mix so Dalton can get a good program in before he tries to get the belt back. That Kingdom asswhoopin' didn't mean nothing @ DBD. :lolbron:

ROH really about to show up at MSG without their biggest draws. Good thing they already sold that shyt out or they'd be even more up shyt creek than it seems like they already are :dead:

Taven is winning the title in 2019, he will be the one to take it off Lethal.

They love that guy, he is always pushed well.

"Unless things change, and everything is in major flux, the Young Bucks & Cody are not going to be on the show"

Meltzer talking about the MSG show.

Holy fukk, they really booked MSG without making sure they had their guys locked up at least through that show:bryan:
