ROH should have found a way to get their belt onto Kenny as soon as NJPW dropped the ball and didn't.

Kenny isn't under contract, so even though it's the hottest wrestler out today, not sure it would be smart to have your world title on someone who can't appear on every TV taping and would just get cockblocked by NJPW to minimal appearances only. Cody is a good second choice to have, to maximize off Bullet Club buzz.

Thank god they are giving him a serious gimmick. He better use a submission finish though.

Thats an 1980s gimmick though. With so many of the fan base doing jiu jitsu training themselves, you can’t possibly do an mma gimmick without some legitimacy. He’s a white belt and the ground sequences were hilarious.

I don't think he's gonna get a full MMA gimmick, just the point of that video was he's done with the lame gimmick, and that he's an actual wrestler, not some joke WWE jobber. We will have to wait and see for his debut match/segment though.

ROH turning into Ring of Impact :mjlol:

It's BEEN that way just look at the roster. The point you make does raise the question, beyond being New Japan's jump-off what is Ring of Honor's identity? They're not a super Indy anymore if you want to see the hottest Indy guys they're in Reseda. They don't have a specific style of wrestling like say a company like Progress. The TV show feels like an episode of Velocity from back in the day with championships and worse production values on some episodes and Bullet Club TV on other episodes. What is Ring of Honor? It feels like they're trading on the goodwill their brand got from a decade ago and the New Japan link but product wise are they any different to say a company like Impact? They don't even follow the Code of Honor that strictly anymore. Their matches don't guarantee clean finishes anymore.

Watching for the first time in a while, is Hangman Page no longer in Bullet Club?

Being referred to as just Adam Page
