Oh, I have no problem with submission guys, but ZSJ is so boring and bland.
If he did something as simple as grow a beard, he might not look so generic. And that might not even help either.
He's great in the ring but the definition of vanilla.

Of course they will, they don't need them. Gonna be interesting how the talent share goes thoughfrom the rumor going around njpw will stop their partnership with roh after war of the world tour
Long as that LU contract still active, he ain't doing shyt on North American televisionIf him and Ricochet start teaming in ROH too
While setting the attendance record and having a great show, it sounds positive. But the house was drawn by the Hardys. Adam Cole, who lost the opener to Marty Scurll in a very good TV title match, is still being booked like a guy who is leaving, and who has four weeks left on his contract. Bobby Fish was on the show and said that he wasn’t done in ROH, but he’s not under contract and isn’t expected around for the long haul.Do any of you brehs know what Meltzer says about Cole in his new newsletter?
Supposedly says something about his situation
Thanks brehWhile setting the attendance record and having a great show, it sounds positive. But the house was drawn by the Hardys. Bobby Fish is figured into the booking plans going forward. He’ll work here as a regular going forward but also work more indie dates. He’s reluctant to sign a new deal because that would lock him up from going to WWE, but for now he’s doing ROH, maybe New Japan as well as indies. Similarly, Adam Cole’s contract is up on 4/30, but he’s expected to follow a similar path, working here, New Japan and indies as opposed to signing a long-term deal that would keep him from WWE. Another wrinkle in this is with New Japan getting so enthusiastic about its U.S. prospects due to the quick sellouts, whether they’d make a play to be the home base promotion for both of them, where they could figure strongly into the New Japan plans but also work ROH and indies.

– Marty Scurll spoke with Total Wrestling Magazine for a new interview. Some highlights are below:
On coping with the pressures of being a professional wrestler: “The pressure is what I put on myself. It’s not only my full time job, it’s my purpose in life. It’s why I was put on this world. I often joke to many people when they ask if I can come and do something ‘sorry guys, the wrestling world needs me.’ I have a responsibility now to the people who have invested in my brand or fans of mine who have an expectation that spend their money, they get their money’s worth. I’ve had many, many times when fans have written to me about how The Villain character resonates with them and they’ve invested their time and emotions into the character where previously they may have been struggling with things like anxiety or depression, or whatever, they can use me as a platform, whether that be using my matches or promos, so they can forget about their worries.”
On what was the deciding factor in signing with ROH: “I’ve been wrestling for a long time, it was a natural time and the time was right to go. I knew I could come into ROH with a lot of steam, I didn’t want to come in as a nobody or lower down the card. I knew for me, a big part of my career needed to have that platform to display my body of work. I think ROH has that really big platform where my work will be cemented for a very long time. I mean when you look at the 15 year history of the company, ROH has made its dent in the wrestling business and will always be remembered. Guys that I mentioned before like Danielson, Joe, and Nigel McGuinness the matches and their work has been cemented and they left a legacy in this company. That’s important for me, it’s the reason why I mention ‘Long live the villain’ I want my character, body of work to live long after I’m not on this world. That’s my attitude towards wrestling, I want to be remembered.”
On the WWE UK tournament: “The wrestling scene in the UK is doing better than it has in a long time so it makes sense that WWE want to be involved and want to run big shows and use UK talent, because UK talent is some of, if not the best talent in the world. It comes as no surprise to me. The guys that are involved are really good friends of mine and I’d like to think that everything can go well for them. WWE are lucky to have talents like them and I hope it goes well.”

I thought wwe would sign him right away too.Don't see Cole sticking around for even the part time deal like Meltzer thinks once his deal is up
WWE has wanted him for a while & he has guys there already behind the scenes to pull for him in Owens, Corino, & Jimmy Jacobs. Unless ROH pulls something to hold the process up, Cole will get that offer as soon as possible (if he doesn't already have a wink wink deal in place).
I didn't hear about that, but this one isn't showing any angles/promosI thought wwe would sign him right away too.
i read Cole just reunited with bullet club at the tv tapings, and on the Austin podcast Cole hinted at a match with Omega at some point
I hope he goes there right away. I think he'd fukkung kill it in nxt
