Yeah it was a dumb move for lulz. I know some cool white people (such as yourself) and they always tell me how it gets uncomfortable when racist whites say shyt around them. It's like they assume everyone will be cool with it. It was dumb for her to dress her sons up like that, and it was doubly dumb for her to post it on a public forum.

This is what it comes down to.

The same night the inital thread came down on this, I was driving home listening to the radio. On the show I was listening to, there was a dude and a chick, and the chick was talmbat she just came from a "Halloween/Too Soon Party". The point of the party was to have costumes that were messed up like this one (like ol' gurl in the other thread as a Boston Marathon runner).

So of course she was keepin' it real tame since she was on radio, and the dude was saying people get offended about that kind of stuff too easily...and OF COURSE, the chick put some pics up on her instagram. She showed some to the dude, and he even said "wow - that is quite inappropriate..."

Just like you said, people just assume you will be cool with certain things. Case in point - I don't appreciate when someone I don't know thinks they can cuss freely while talkin' to me. Nah.
