Kilts aren't skirts, they started as a complete body wrapping that doubled as a blanket and where far more practical than trousers for how people lived back then.

And the tartan on them signifies the tour clan, each clan had a unique tartan worn on the kilt and there's thousands of recognised tartans to this day.

Irish kilts are a bit different as their tartan is used to identify your county rather than clan.

They also look fukkin great to wear to weddings, birthdays, communions, christenings or any fancy dress event, and are way more comfortable than a fuxkin tuxedo or whatever other people wear.


Don't fukkin disrespect because anyone wearing a kilt almost certainly has one of these in their sock.
