This is my issue that I can't seem to move past.I think way too much and get myself worked up and half the time it's over nothing. Then I start to have anxiety attacks, I meditate and I am trying to grow out of it, it's just difficult.hey @MarsPunka, I know everyone is giving you advice but heres my 2 cents:
Let go of expectations. You don't have to get rid of your standards but treat everything one day at a time.
Don't worry about the future, focus on today. Take things as they come because when you worry about the future and what gaps happen, it can trigger anxiety.
Try to forgive the problems of the pass. Whether it was yourself or another who caused problems. Don't take those issues with you into your future. Instead, learn from them.
When you focus on the past, you tense up because you are expecting history to repeat itself. Instead, take the lessons from those trials, so you are prepared to face your fears and issues head on.
Remember when you're tense, you sink. You have to learn to relax and breathe, this way you can float and go with the flow.
It's not easy, it takes a lot of practice. I have anxiety issues too but this has helped me a lot. It's good that you meditate, but you know you can meditate at any time. It's not lying though. I spent the last half hour or so reading my charts and the explanations or whatever and shyt was bleak. That was the last thing I read and it made me sad as shyt.that seems harsh.
