Season 3: Episode 5
There was a lot that went on tonight. Starting off with Lisa Kudrow's character- eh I'm on the fence. She was assertive but I felt that her tone was somewhat condescending. Her story about being a teen mom and the baby being raised as her younger sister was decent. Obviously, considering how the show ended, Liv will take her up on the offer of becoming her campaign manager. I just hope that there is more to her character, especially if she will be sticking around for a long period of time.
Looks like 'Baby' Huck got put in the corner. I understood Janie having a gun, but Quinn?
She'll probably end up killing the wrong people and ish. *sigh*
Jake, really? You are tired of 'playing second fiddle' ? That is so interesting because last week...
with your 'more wine?' comment, knowing she was on the phone with Fitz. Now he's full of moxie...
Tom...you traitor! Hal is supposed to be Mellie's guy and quiet as it's kept, possible baby daddy to lil' Teddy. In any event, what a scene. Although that dialogue was written as Mellie accepting things for what they are, this is Mellie. If by some weird way Olivia once again became a part of the team, Mellie would find a way to create unnecessary drama.
V.P. Sally Langston deciding to step out on her own, seemed inevitable. I'm looking forward to her character being more prominent.
I get that Olivia plays things close to the vest, but I don't care for her treatment of Harrison. No! He is not as close to her as Huck, but he has proven that he is down with whatever plan she thinks of. I know that we have some information about how he became a gladiator, but I really want to learn more about his backstory.
Speaking of a backstory, tonight we found out that Abby's (who looked beautiful in her 20's inspired gown) ex-husband is some kind of political figure. Makes sense as to why she needed Olivia's help. Her and David's relationship doesn't interest me, but whatever.
The last few minutes...
Okay, I was never out, I just wanted to use that gif.

Anyways, that was crazy. I knew that when Huck started talking about a plane, it had to do with Olivia's mother. Now is Liv's mom actually dead or did she fake her death to get away from Rowan?
I enjoyed tonight's episode. Can't wait for next week.
