Totally me here... can’t say how many possible relationships I ruined cause I’m clumsy or just awkward.

So my man tells me, long story short, some chick needs his help with math hw so they exchange numbers (he tells me this because he knows I'm extremely jealous). Based on the conversation, it sounded like she was flirting to me but whatevs I trust my man.

So the weekend before last, I'd about 2 weeks after they exchanged numbers, I asked if she ever contacted him. He says no and I finally say she was prob just flirting then and he said I figured.

So fast forward to last weekend and I see some female's name in his messges with a poop emoji and star emoji by her name. I can't see anything else except "file attachment sent"
Before I continue, I find this sus cuz I'm the only other person in his contacts with emojis. Also he tells me everything about all his friends yet I've never heard about this one.
So I look her up on fb and not only do they go to the same school (and she's not an old high school friend cuz they didn't go to the same high school) but she matches the description of the girl hmmmm.

So today I check through his messages cuz he doesn't delete messages, he has messages going all the way back to this January. And their conversation is gone. I'm thinking maybe I got it wrong and made the whole thinh up but I go to his contacts and there's her name. So the crazy in me blocks and deletes it.

I don't want any advice or anything, I just needed to vent cuz all my friends are asleep

I believe him because I didn't tell him what the text I saw was, just that I saw her name on his messages and thought it was sus he deleted the convo. He also said she added the emojis (flirtation on level 9000)

I told him what I did and to not contact her again cuz no matter how innocent the convo was, deleting text messages says to me u got something to hide. He says he didn't see deleting the convo as that big of a deal but why you still got other messages from classmates and not that one?

Ain't gon leave him cuz like the cops say I only got circumstanial evidence but I'm def gon keep investigating and keep my eyes peeled from now on
