A lot of guys especially young guys don't know how to break up with someone. They don't want to hurt your feelings so they lead you on and play games until you have had enough and end it for them. At the end of the day, you have to decide what you will and will not put up with. If he won't even work with you or put effort towards the relationship, then its time to go.
