• It's the just talking/getting to know eachother/ sometimes called dating phase.
• Then the courting/ also called dating stage, where your like "hmmm, i think I like this girl/guy. I could see myself/in a relationship with him/her".
• Then its official exclusively dating/relationship phase.

Ohhhhh so that's how it works.
With my ex, we were best friends for so long so we just hopped into the the third point. Hmmm, I'm on the fence. He sucks at texting lmao. As petty as it may sound I hate when people start text convos, leave for hours sometimes days to continue from where we dropped off plus it gives me anxiety.
