Season 4: Episode 8
Starting off with Jake (understandably) being in his feelings. Meh. The back and forth between him and Fitz was okay. The dragging of this love triangle is and has been for me, quite boring.
It was interesting to see Mellie and Andrew rekindling their affair. Unfortunately, it makes Mellie look quite pathetic and my goodness they have zero chemistry.
Just when you think that the feel-bad-for-Mellie train has taken a detour, we now are dealing with Andrew and Lizzie having an affair. *sigh*
Michael not being as devious as expected was an interesting twist. It's good that Cyrus acknowledged how stupid he has been, but it still doesn't excuse his behavior. They say, when you know better, you do better. We all know that he knows better so, Cyrus...
Huck..Why? Now I understand that he's happy that his estranged son wants to spend time with him and whatnot but taking him on a stakeout?
For someone who is so smart, why is so much ignorance seeping through? Like why would you think that of all places to take a child, that would be the place to be? Then on top of it, not only did Huck put himself in harms way, but also his son and now the boy has seen that Huck is also a killer.
From sugar to shyt, just that quick. I. Can't.
Whenever Papa Pope is on the screen...
I was living for that verbal thrashing he gave Olivia.
Why does she continue to underestimate him?...
Welp! As he said, if she thought a world with him was bad, imagine one without him. Liv may have momentarily got the boys together, but the reality is that Papa Pope knows best. Sure he has done a lot of horrible things, all of which he has admitted to, but in the grand scheme of things he has always protected her.
Overall, good episode tonight. I guess from the preview, Liv thinks that she will be able to take down Papa Pope..
I'm expecting a Mama Pope reemergence for the Winter Finale.
