Season 4: Episode 5
Starting off, I can say that I am glad that they continued the story of Liv/Abby friend's daughter ending up dead and why she was framed for her death.
I feel bad for Huck. I knew that Kim had something shady planned when she immediately agreed that he would be allowed to see their son. Now with that being said, he fukking up on the job and that is never a good look. I do like that him and Quinn are slowly but surely mending their friendship though.
Speaking of Quinn, I enjoyed her a lot in this episode. She's actually one of the more well-rounded characters, which is funny considering that her past life was disintegrated.
I loved the scene with Papa Pope waltzing into Olivia's home, and them having an awkward conversation. Of course the best scene was the spin he did with blaming Jake for everything.
David is such a mess. You get what you get and don't throw a fit. I can't at Abby trying to blame Olivia for David's actions. Her immediately forgetting all of that and her verbally going after Fitz next week however, showed me what I had known...she wants to be a Gladiator again.
Mellie...
'Jerry died for our sins...he died so we would remain in the White House for 4 more years'
I'm glad Mells took a hot soapy rag and washed her ass and all, but the writing of this character eh. Looks like power hungry Mellie is back on the scene.
Fitz and Jake...No! to both. Liv damn sure can pick 'em. Now we all know while Fitz was understandably upset about Jerry being murdered, those hits were due to Jake sleeping with Olivia. Same as him not wanting to hear what Jake had to say last week- all due to Liv.
They both ain't shyt and hopefully one of these days they will have Liv be single for awhile.
Overall, I'd say this was a good episode. The fallout from Jake's beat-down should be interesting.
