Season 4: Episode One
Kicking off the show with Olivia, not surprisingly, on a desert island. Unfortunately, Jake is still around.
I was not feeling the look at all. I think we all knew that Harrison's death would bring Olivia back to Washington, D.C.
Quinn eh...she is so damn smug. It'll be nice once everyone gets into the full swing of things and she is once again attempting to be a baby Huck, rather than this whole super spy bullshyt. Where is Charlie when you need him?
Abby...
I mean really, girl? Trying to blame Harrison's death on Olivia leaving? Like nah uh. Glad that Olivia verbally dragged her. As she said, she was halfway around the world, while Abby was there. Basically, if one were to get the brunt of the blame, it would be her.
Randy Huck...well it was interesting to see exactly what life had become for him. Can't wait to see the fallout of him visiting his wife after all of those years.
Mellie..sad. The writing last season for the character was a clear indication (to me anyway) that Shonda is trying to make Mellie/Bellamy out to be the star by putting her in these gawd awful situations where one feels empathetic towards her character. It is what it is. I just hope that in turn, she gets Olivia back on track.
Cyrus, your hair...
That last scene..eh. Cyrus called it, Mellie called it and hell we all know that the Olitz affair will resume shortly. I just hope that in the meantime, Olivia gains back some of her credibility.
Overall, this episode was okay. Even though it is a fast-paced show, its understandable why they haven't started dropping bombs and creating those water cooler moments. A lot has happened, obviously, since Olivia's departure and it seems as if the time away of the remaining Gladiators will be the driving force behind the season.
