What recipe did you use for the vanilla icing? I've only ever made cream cheese frosting which was pretty decent..

2 cups of confectioners sugar
2-3 tablespoons of softened butter
2 tablespoons of milk
1 tsp of vanilla

Mixed it with a hand mixer on low and added milk to get the consistency I wanted.
