Season 3: Episode 10
So, we are starting the show with V.P. Sally Langston replaying what went down between her and her cheating husband, Daniel Douglas.
I thought that scene was really good. Kate Burton has always been impressive in her role as the Vice President, but that was a knockout performance. I wasn't surprised that Sally had some knowledge of her husband possibly playing for the other team. I say this because a couple of episodes back when Mellie came to her and informed her that Daniel had hit on a female staff member, Sally immediately dismissed the claim, even with knowing how flirtatious he could be. .
I was glad that Cyrus actually felt some kind of guilt for what happened, considering he and Mellie were the ones who concocted the plan to leave Sally with no other option but to remain in her current position.
Leo is a mess. 'I am always the first call- if you kill someone, call me.'
I think that Leo will find a way to get Sally to go forward with her plans to run against Fitz.
James and Cyrus *sigh*
Once again, James opens his soup coolers to David, and for some strange reason actually believed that David would be fool enough to trust him after he screwed him over in regards to Defiance.
Poor Quinn. Now granted, I have been annoyed with how the character has been written as some naive girl with zero life experience. However, they have Huck going hard towards Quinn when she was tricked by Charlie into killing the security guard. Meh. It would be nice if Quinn would actually be allowed to tell what really went down.
The best scene of the
episode season was Rowan dragging the fukk out of Fitz. I was so glad that someone called him out on his spoilt behavior. Joe Morton is EVERYTHING!
Fitz...
Jake once again says 'goodbye' to Olivia with a kiss- which was so unnecessary, but the real gag was his 'I loved you...I love you' comment. It's like...
Unfortunately, Jake will not be leaving anytime soon, since Fitz decided to show Rowan that he had more power than his paygrade confessed. I am most interested in this turn of events, because we all know that Rowan is not going down without a fight.
Also, Mama Pope is clearly someone who is not to be messed with.
I enjoyed this episode and am looking forward toward what's to come. I just hope that the rest of the season is just as good.
