Its not that deep breh....
I wouldn't go as far as to say it was ass but it felt undercooked in terms of the gameplay. There should have been more variety when it came to the combat. You can't have an action game where the the main character has only one weapon (Sword). They need to have multiple weapons/styles to switch up the flow.
Plus the side quests were shyt.

16 was definitely disappointing but at the end of the day it's a 8/10 game if you take the good with the bad.
Having final fantasy difficulty from the beginning would've made it a much more enjoyable experience.

it's also completely optional. You can ignore the side content and focus on the main story for the first playthrough, and then come back to it later. Dude makes it sound like it's all mandatory
