Eh they dropped the ball with Kanan. Everything else about the show is very good.

I still think they should have went the route of Kanan already being on Demon Time but Raq is trying to control him.

Its weird cause I buy everything about how they are developing Jukebox. It feels more natural for the character. Kanan right now seems like something thats been rehashed over and over.

Exactly. Jukebox développement makes much more sense. When you look at a lot of documentary about young gangsters they either went through real fukked up shyt or dysfonctionnal families. Or sometimes they already were psychopath monsters deep down and the streets just reveal the shyt. Kanan would have been a much more interresting character if he was the latter. But despite having a drug dealer mom, he was in good conditions and didn't lived more traumatic experiences than the average 90's ny project kid so far

The other characters Marvin and his brother are not really great either. Only Unique is badass. Raquel is cold but move sloppy

Rewatching season one, I gotta give my props to Unique. Dude always keeps solid and he never did no underhanded shyt. He could had easily popped Raq ass for setting him up to get locked up, but he didn't.

Just tried to watch this series due to the draught on all the platforms, it’s hard to not pick up the laptop and do something else. Lil Meech’s acting is too bad. Some of the dudes sound like suburb kids making fun outta street dudes too . And writing is mad lazy.


I could probably enjoy it if I was 15 though and it’s easy to watch in the background without missing shyt.

Hopefully they introduce breeze this season

I know the show runner said they wouldn’t but they definitely should have young Tommy & ghost on here towards the end of the series.

I also noticed around season one, Grown Kanan referred to Howard as "this cop", not as his father. Howard must had did something that made Grown Kanan completely dismember him.

I may take an evening nap on Thursday so I can be able to watch @ midnight with a fresh set of eyes. Otherwise I'll be tuned in early the next morning.

It's crazy how we don't know the true fate of any of the characters besides Kanan and Jukebox. Very unusual for a prequel....and intriguing at the same time.
