Knew from jump Unique wasn't dead. Didn’t think Ronnie was just gonna go out like that though I thought he'd have more to do in season 4. They invested a lot of time in to building hom up to extra crazy and throwed off. Oh well can't wait for next season though. Just started this series last week and now I'm all caught up. Off to BMF I go now.

man, buddy that plays kanan is doing a TERRIBLE 50 accent. and there's no reason for him to talk like that cuz the kanan character was never shot until he died in power. that kid continues to be terrible.

Maybe but they left it open and vague. Even when Howard told Raq he was dead I felt he'd be back. There was no resolution and his girl told Ronnie nit to take his things because he'd be looking for it when he comes back.

I'm on episode 9. it's laughable that ronnie actually listens to kanan, but not his own brother who was trying to look out for him.

So that means this gotta be doing way better than Ghost viewise or cheaper to make. Possibly both. I can see Rainey and the other cast getting bigger checks since some of them came from the OG series. Then it's probably cheaper to shoot with the period stuff than the modern setting of Ghost.

Not that he gets top billing or anything, but isnt the most accomplished actor on that show Omar Epps? That ain't saying much.

It’s most likely both. Ghosts series was doing way too much last season. Kanan was damn near perfection this last season.

Yep. Epps was the most accomplished. Probably helps that none of the other cast has much going on. I think the actors may have reupped on cheaper than planned deals or something. When the Ghost cancellation happened a starz exec was quoted as saying that it's cheaper to cancel a show after season 3/4 and make a spinoff than to continue the main show. So that's weird that they already got a season 5 for this one.

Also maybe that rumor about Starz wanting to cut Kemp out more because she took the Netflix deal could be true as well. The "created by" credit for this and Force arent by Kemp. Ghost was still "created by" Kemp though.

I also don't see any the Kanan cast going to Italy much less Atlantic City to unnecessarily move the story.
