She took his spot in the drug game. That's why he said he only wanted the work and connect before Kanan blasted him.

This explains why season 2 of BMF was written the way it was. Lamar should have been dead in the first season. People loved his character so much They brought him back but it made his character look more mental than feared.

That's not true. The real Lamar is still alive so it wouldn't have made sense to kill him off if loosely based on a true story.
