My theory is just as idiotic as what played out on screen. Ronnie went back and picked Nique up and nursed him back to health. He knew Kana would try to off him, he used a blood pack and blanks, or a vest and a blood pack. Notice how we seen Howard head shot and head trauma, we didn't really see that with Ronnie.
