BMF is Raising Kanan with like half the budget, a quarter of the writing quality and a tenth of the acting talent. The acting on there makes the kid playing Kanan look like Denzel or DDL. But I will be tuning in for S3 :francis:

Nah, I disagree on that especially when compared to the acting on other shows :yeshrug:
Season 1 of BMF was good imo, I ain't watch s02 yet because people been saying it was each, I'm definitely gonna binge it sooner or later just ain't got to it yet. I ain't seen either season on Force yet. I'll get to that some time in the future. Seen all 3 of Tariq, and the acting is good, but the writing is nowhere near RK. RK as a whole package is on the level of Snowfall and other GOATS, none of the other shows in the Power universe is anywhere near that level.

RK raised the bar for 50, the rest of the Power universe is based on fukkery but RK is more based on real life type of writing. More relatable characters, more realistic people.

Of the 50 shows (Tariq/RK/BMF/Power) all of them got better with their last seasons except BMF. S2 everything went down(writing, acting, etc) imo.
S3 starts March 1, so hopefully it improves, but I doubt it. Especially with Lil Meech being the lead and getting so much time. Like I said earlier, I'll still be checking it out.

I agree with RK being the best of the spinoffs. Force's first season is rough, but gets much better the 2nd season.

True but Raq stepping on everybody is getting old fast, imo.

I think another issue with tension and action this season was, who was the big dealer with raq's absence from the game?
Raq quits the game. Unique was just doing a start up with one shop. Where are all the other drug dealers? If a big dog gets put down, there is usually someone waiting to take their spot. Ronnie threw a big party with all the hustlers/dealers and none of them wanted to take over the spots Raq abandoned? All the dudes dealing drugs around Raq's area wouldve swooped in on the real estate. Ronnie was just able to move Heroin freely? Why wouldnt Dean move in the territory?

I guess you can say Ronnie was the one to swoop in, but there shouldve been someone there before Ronnie could even get set up.
Maybe Im forgetting something from S2 in regards to other crews?

Lou Lou been doing a great job playing an emotional drunk also. Raq is killing us as a boss bytch as always, and Marvin has been great as the silly ass getting money uncle that doesn't take himself too seriously. Seems like his real life personality.

Honestly, all the characters seem to fit their real life personalities in interviews except Kanan, and I think that's why everyone likes him the least. I don't think he is doing a bad job, just seems unnatural for the type of person he is irl.

I thought Jukebox woulda caught her first body sometime this season, but it's looking like her flip is gonna happen next season. This shyt will probably go for 6-7 seasons. They still have a lot of story to tell.

Man they don't need to drag this out for 6 seasons, two more seasons at the most should/would do it

2 more seasons could probably wrap up Raq, Lou, and Marvin stories but I don't think you can get Kanan and Jukebox to anywhere near the points they were at in Book 1 without at least a 6th season, or a massive time jump between season 4 and 5, and I don't want to miss that much of the transition.
