I'm only up to page 123 but I'ma need you young cats to stop arguing about music from MY ERA and how it's supposed to sound. You were not there and it shows. In MY hip hop era, NOBODY sounded alike. There was no 91 rapper sound. ORIGINALITY was still KING. PE was making noise. Tribe was making noise. Cube was making noise. Rakim was making noise. Naughty By Nature was making noise. NOT 1 of these acts sound the same. And there were many more! I used these names as an example! You nikkas will think if no one on the show sounds like any of them then it's fake. Famous flow was fine. The beat and the hook? Ehh.

The OG Power was good for 3 seasons, but the writing and acting was always ok at best. Power was full of 1 dimensional characters with absolutely no depth to them.

The acrors, writing, and characters on this shyt makes the OG Power look like garbage.

in my opinion, Raising Kanan has slightly better and acting and cinematography than the OG power.

if you notice, the Kanan has a 'film' look to it. Maybe theyre using better cameras this time around or upped the production budget.

as far as the acting goes there hasnt really been any shytty acting moments like OG power when Angela couldnt cry when she saw greg dead, the baby always changing age or Raina's bad acting period..

Raising Kanan is well put together, i dont know if thats due to 50 growing as a producer or the studio just putting in more work

I think I'll like the Kanan aspect more when Kanan starts to be less dependant on his mom.

Raq ain't the problem. The writing is. When the show started and he was a kid he said his name nrver stopped ringing after he beat them kids with the battry sock. FF to his teenage years he's a nobody. His character has zero development. Even his criminal ways are afterthoughts

Dont think Kanan killed his pops. In the preview for the next ep his pops is on a stretcher. His moms just told his ass to tap’em in the head too to make sure the job done

Raising Kanan has some terrible effects. When Raq was teachig Kanan to shoot the gun wasn't real, no blow back prop or nothing, just fake gunshot effx. Same with Unique's Bulletproof car, the effects were terrible. The fire with Lou Lou. Marvin's fake burns on his face and that awful help me scene at the end
