Still thought last episode (8) was the best episode thus far, but I won't disagree if someone said this was. Although some of the stuff in the first half was ABC forced drama type shyt. You mean Jukes father is looking for music and checks the stuck bottom drawer when all her CDs/tapes are on the top of her dresser? C'mon... Or Omar's character (forget the name) just happens to bust those guys at the hospital? And why is that one dude with the extremely noticeable kid n play haircut walking around acting like he's not the most easily identifiable person in the hospital. No discreetness at all. Him and Jay Electronica
All these gangsta shootouts, machine guns, fires and shyt and not one person gets hit ? At this point can we even take Nique seriously? That whole mob speech in the garage was just laughable cuz he just sent a whole crew including himself to take out Lou and he survived. Meanwhile Lou still alive, called him a bytch ass nikka to his face when he was outnumbered and nothing happened that should've happened right there. They really got Lou out here looking like Superman. He can survive anything now. It's gonna be hard to take his character seriously moving forward if he's under any duress.
As someone stated, I see why Kanan saw himself in Tariq now. Both chose the street life when they legitimately didn't have to. Guess it's in the genes.
I find myself waaaay more interested in Jukebox's story than Kanan's. I can see her getting her father killed somewhere down the line or doing it herself.
