Because she needed him. After High Post got killed and she took over the connect, she needed Marvin and Lou Lou to be her enforcers otherwise Unique would’ve ran over her. If she felt that strongly about him being a junky before prison, she shouldn’t have rocked with him. Blaming him for these fukkups when 70% of them are directly because of Kanan is annoying. If Marvin was out the gang, Unique would’ve still tried to hit the stash spot. Kanan would’ve still killed Buck 20. And Kanan would’ve still been making blue tops. The only time I can say Marvin sounded like a dummy was trying to throw parties when they were running out of work and in war and bringing Kanan to the stash spot. Unique would’ve still tried to hit it but at least Kanan wouldn’t have been there. Just saying everything hasn’t been his fault. And like Kanan said, you can’t be a crime boss conducting business in the same neighborhood your family living in with your enemies knowing where you at and expect your son to stay out of it.
