I fukks with this show over the Tariq show. This show is actually grounded in reality while Book 2 was a continuation of the soapy Power themes from the original. In fact...THIS show is gonna have to get a whole lot stupider for it to exist in the same universe as the main Power. You know the one with actual villains with names like Lobos and Milan. Killers with trademarks like golden guns and pink sneakers. The one where a goof like Spank can be a lieutenant to the top dog. Can you see Spank working for Unique? Raq? I can't even see Marv fukking with that cornball. And in the universe this Book 3 is in I don't see a whiteboy rising to the top of the Southside street drug trade. That was already a fantasy in the original Power. So Tommy in this universe gonna have to be O-Dog x 10 to get respect.
