The class is corny, i get it, present the reality of morality in multiple avenues, but who tf at 19 quoting writers and shyt, and justifying their actions, in round about ways, and cash doll character annoying, we get it, you you pretty and talk reckless

light skin keisha you mean and yeah agree with everything you said. I mean this class every teacher who has taught has been killed or accused of murder (tate) at one point

The one thing I never liked about this show going back to the OG Power is how easy it is for them to slip in dialogue or moments that call back to random events. Like Tommy will kill someone that's important, and we haven't seen this character in two years nor has he been mentioned at all in the episode, but it just comes up and then you have to remember what the hell that character's purpose was in the show.
nah they the king of just sayin "previously on Power" and then it be like 9 events from last episode and 3 from a season and a half ago

remember when they did "Previously on Power" in the last two seasons and then the preview had the execution from the pilot episode? Just to show that woman who Ghost let live is back?

Gon fukk around next Friday and they gon show 2bit in the "Previously on Power" section

You guys pointing out all the ridiculous shyt that happens on this show is killing me. I would have to quote and reply to everything. :mjlol:

I would say the new showrunner is the reason for this, but Power has been influenced by Empire for the last five or six years so they're just continuing the cartoonish tradition like they always have. :mjlol:
This is me with the Breeze character.

nikkas in the Kanan thread are foaming at the mouth for him to show up and I don't even remember who he was supposed to be :russ:

I know this question was already answered, but I had to respond to this regardless.

Ghost didn't want to kill Breeze. He loved Breeze. He killed Breeze because he was getting in the way of his future. Ghost was about Tariq's age when he did it.

What Kanan didn't know, what Kanan couldn't tell Tariq, was that Ghost gave Breeze one last chance. He gave him one last chance to change his mind, and he wouldn't, so Breeze forced Ghost's hand.

Ironically, this is the same logic that Tariq used when he killed Ghost. No one saw that coming. :troll:

Also, Ghost killed Breeze while he was watching Jeopardy. nikka loved Alex Trebek.

Bro just a prop tbh. Feel like they built homie character up for Nathan. Cuh had control in a prison… that’s power. Just to end up getting punked by his shawty and his oldest.

He was supposed to be the baddest muthafukka in Queens outside of Ghost. The only reason Monet had respect on the streets still. Monet was extremely afraid of this nikka. He gets out, is a complete non-factor and is getting punked constantly :heh:

Edit: It's hilarious that Lorenzo doesn't know Ghost. He should have known Ruiz, Anibal, Rolla, Tommy, Kanan...somebody. If you making millions selling drugs in a city, you gonna know who the other people are :gucci:Compare this to real NY. Everybody knew Supreme, Bimmy, Fat Cat, etc. Brooklyn nikkas knew Jimmy Henchman, Haitian Jack, Domencio. Harlem nikkas knew Alpo, Rich and AZ.

In theory it sounds like a good idea, but i don’t think the draw would be there, yeah you got angles but nikkas not trying to watch a scheming politician, Tate my dog from the crib but a political show just don’t move the needle

If they do cool

No lie, he lifted that nikka shirt up i was like naw son

They do that in so many shows. Too many adult writers in their 30s and 40s trying to write witty dialogue when its not realistic for younger characters.

That actually makes sense though as the younger generation could have cared less about him or his reputation. That Power in prison wouldn’t necessarily translate to the outside and his undoing will be because he thought shyt was still the same instead of adapting.

The funniest thing about his character is that he always giving Caine shyt for running in emotions yet he’s essentially no different arguably even worse.
