She’s going to end up being the one to kill Monet once it’s all said and done. It’s been obvious since last season.
Other thoughts:
They could have done a better job with the Mecca introduction though as it seemed completely random. If Caine didn’t know about the drugs until he saw them on the plane, then where exactly and how did they meet Jim beforehand. It’s obvious that he’s using him to get to Monet. I’m guessing for her killing Rico last season.
I’m also guessing that Tate is going to help Riq out with Yazz in exchange for him getting to the book with Governor Sweeney.
Tariq was dumb for answering the phone and naively thinking that he’d actually hear from Tasha will in witness protection. Makes sense storyline wise, but still dumb.
That flashback music has to go though
Oh and Zeke is going to the fall for Jabari’s murder and probably Ramirez in the first. One family member out of jail in exchange for another.
