This is a beat i sample from a vinyl from 1975 , i got me a turntable and a massive old vinyls collection and no better feeling to find that great sample and filp into something else . No major change in this one i keep the sample original and chop it in some place .

This is fire fam. Very good drums
Doesn't matter whether sample is chopped or not. Both can be just as hard to work with.
I usually loop more cause i like to keep a "natural" sound.

The piano is kinda ieri. Something for a rainy day.

Snare is a very good choice.
I would add another hi-hat with more hits to make it a little fuller overall.

And i kinda wish the overall mix was clearer but that might has to do with the mp3 you sampled.

That first and second beat is incredible! This is the type of reason why i started listening to Hip-Hop.

I like that first loop you used. Kinda sounding like some 1950's Doo-Wop. Not a complicated beat but sounds really good i think.
