It worked out well :francis:
At least they trying.

I see Fields starting the rest of season and making playoffs too.

If that happens, Steelers sign him to a cheap long term deal and spread money around the team like a competent front office is supposed to do.

Only two 3 and outs all day man. That baby hand fukk would have been 3 and out all day yesterday. Defense was great like usual and Bos put in work

Relentless defense, offense got 1 TD in two games :pachaha:

Couple of those plays shouldn't have been overturned tbh but they did

NYC (but PGH will forever be home)
On one hand- if you take away those penalties, the team probably has at least another 10 or so points yesterday :manny:

On the other hand- penalties wiped away 10 or so points yesterday :snoop:

Takeaways:
  • Fields looks good, and the #'s do not tell the entire story (see above comments). I also like how they are beginning to let him go downfield more and taking calculated risks. Definitely improving.
  • That being said, still want to see Russ. I think JF could be the future, but Russ probably gives us a better opp today.
  • BroJo is heading toward bust territory. Dude needs to sit until he figures things out. And no, switching him to LT would not magically make him a better Tackle.

The positive I took from this game was Justin Fields, especially after the fumble. Defense got cooked, had Flacco flashbacks :francis:

Richardson was having his way with us so when Flacco came in I figured it wouldn't really get better since he's used to going against us. It would be nice to be more aggressive coming out the gate on offense. Thought Fields played good outside of the fumbles. We would have been blownout if it wasn't for him

It's crazy how much bad luck our offensive line has. All those top draft picks spent on it and it's still a disaster. SMH.

And not having a #2 receiver is killing this team right now. I don't give a fukk what Roman Wilson does in practice he needs to be on that field so we can evaluate and see if he can be the guy next to Pickens or if we have to go trade for somebody. Tomlin needs to stop being a bytch and let him play and they also need to stop acting like the middle of the field is some untouchable area that you can't ever use on offense or defend on defense. We should be slicing teams in half with Washington & Friermuth...
