I know the reports are that Mike Tomlin is gonna assess everything and come to a decision but if I step back and look at this rationally he might just pack it in

He's been there longer than Cowher now and most importantly he doesn't have a QB

Just look at the AFC and the QBs

Harbaugh bout to come and crush the buildings with the Chargers and get Justin Herbert to his full potential

If they gonna continue to lie to themselves and the fans and think Pickett is the guy the Steelers are in for some tough times ahead

Unless they plan on being a aggressive and trade up which is gonna be mad hard, they stuck with Pickett

Mike T might be like fukk it I'm out :beli:

Ain’t Pickett last year next year though? One of the benefits of drafting him where he was, was because the contract would be mad low and that the contract was short. I feel like the talk of him contemplating leaving is bullshyt because didn’t he just resign a couple weeks ago or were they just in discussions?

I think the players will go all out for Tomlin today which will setup a match up with their divisional rivals, the Ravens. If the Steelers win today, things will get interesting.

I think it's a 4 year deal with a team option for a 5th. All 1st Rd picks have that.

The cynic in me think this is all smoke and mirrors. For some reason I think it’s been thrown out there as a reason to get the Steelers players extra motivated. Go and play hard for Mike T. He might not be here next year.

Why if he was thinking this would it even leak? Aside from “Unleash Hell” Mike is pretty careful with his words. He is like a politician. Even if he was thinking this why would he mention it to anyone who would have connection to the media?

I could see a situation where after the season he is asked about this and he will be :dahell: I never said anything like this. Man I am just focused on Steelers football. We're going to pursue perfection, knowing full well we won't catch it, but we're going to relentlessly chase it. The standard is the standard. Etc and other Tomlinisms
