Monday’s WWE Raw television show averaged 2.833 million viewers, according to Showbuzzdaily.com. Viewership was down from the 2.903 million average from last week.
Powell’s POV: The first hour of Raw averaged 3.123 million viewers. Hour two drew 2.844 million viewers. The final hour of the show averaged 2.532 million viewers. The September 19, 2016 edition of Raw delivered 2.684 million viewers.

Powell’s POV: The first hour of Raw averaged 3.121 million viewers. Hour two drew 3.081 million viewers. The final hour of the show averaged 2.568 million viewers. I’m not surprised to see the big crash for the final hour. I found this to be the dullest episode of Raw in 2017, and they closed the night with a segment involving the cruiserweight division. The Monday Night Football game delivered 13.961 million viewers for ESPN.

WWE has to be pleased with the numbers given that they aired opposite Monday Night Football (including the Star Wars trailer premiere at halftime) and an MLB Playoff game. It’s also encouraging that the third hour didn’t crash despite the fact that the WWE Cruiserweight Championship was announced fairly early in the show as being the main event.
