Finally watched the final episode.

Don't think a death scene has ever pained me as much as Ruth's. At least it was quick :mjcry:

Three things really bothered me about this season:

1) Why the fukk wouldn't Javi travel with security? He literally had security for one scene and that was due to plot (when Ruth first tried to kill him in Chicago) Also, wouldn't the 2nd in line for the Cartel leadership have hitters to do his dirty work?

2) Why wouldn't the Byrde's have security at their home? I think that glass door was broken into 4 or 5 times during the show. Or at least change houses cause they were so exposed out there.

3) Why was Marty driving that shyt box of a car? I mean yeah in the begging it was about laying low and all that but by the end of the series, they were moving in the elite political circles and owned damn near half of the town. They could at least get a BMW or something without arousing any suspicion.

That dude was loyal to Novarro.
Javi was catching his own bodies the whole time.

There are so many questionable things that just happened because the script required it.

I mean, in one scene it's shown that he has a driver and security after his meeting in Chicago then the next scene he travels alone to meet that Billionaire lady in the middle of the night.

Clearly the script needed him to have security in the first scene to add plausibility to Ruth not killing him but then in the next scene, it required him to be alone because otherwise his death would have been solved by the next episode.

whoever mentioned 3 popping Camila.. i woulda liked that as well...

but i was thinking her letting the cop know woulda had the cop there to kill Camila also ..

i think they got potential for spin off... Tommy is still around.. Camila. Birdes..

maybe a time jump.. where 3 is gunning to kill everyone.. and eventually fbi gives him a job lol

Camila being 30 yards away from Ruth and just walking slowly towards her with a gun was the dumbest shyt ever to me. Who would let themselves be slow walked by an older, frumpy Mexican housewife that isn't some marksman in the dark? Especially Ruth who isn't scared of these situations and handles herself all the time. She went out a g but I found that a stretch.

Lol The Byrds ruined and killed or indirectly killed so many lives in the Ozarks and didn’t pay for it not one bit. Wiped out a entire generation of Langmores, ended the Snell line, took their property, had the bipolar bother killed, had one bytch flee to Miami after taking the restaurant, had the sheriff killed, had an FBI agent killed, killed a innocent cartel LT, had another agent restricted to desk duty and killed her reputation and had a recently reinstated cop killed. Like goddamn all those lives ruined and they didn’t pay not one thing for it.

It’s like they had Joker-immunity. But I think it was deeper then that. What the show really wanted to portray? That white elites are untouchable while poor whites and coloreds are expendable? So it’s a socioeconomic thing right?? Bu bu bu Helen. She was gonna get hers regardless. Harboring a future school shooter and making excuses for him? This all looks too real. This story is a metaphor and the Byrds represented WASP Americans while Ozarks represented every poor colored, untamed society that was trampled and destroyed under white imperialism. Or am I looking at this too deep? Hollywood isn’t about entertaining people, it’s about white supremacy and propaganda
The Langmores and The Snells got themselves killed.
Ben silly ass got himself killed, too.
All this shyt starts with the Byrdes tryna lay low, do their laundering and get out but the local yokels looking at them like food.
None of those hicks seemed to understand the power of a cartel, either.

Go back and watch the first episode, Marty and Dell talk about the van. There's a reason the crash it on the last episode and walk away.

The season didn't need to be 14 episodes.
After the first 7, I was ready to see the shyt wrap up.
They didn't need seven more fukking hours to finish the story.
I ffwd through 75% of the last 7 episodes and didnt miss anything.
Ruth ugly ass went out like a G. I respect that.:salute:
That whole scene with Camilia, Clare's face looked like she shyt her draws. Go back and look at her face in that scene.
The only shyt I didnt buy was Charlotte flipping on Wendy to roll with Grandpa, and not having Magnum PI dealt with in the first place.

Maybe I missed something but why did she cover for Marty and Wendy during her confession? I thought she would’ve fingered everyone on some Nino Brown shyt
Because getting Marty and Wendy killed would bring more heat or bad optics and it would ruin her company.

I wasn't talking about the van. That was the wives car. I mean his car, which he still drove after the van crashed.

This is the truth. Regardless of whether or not the Byrnes came to the Ozarks, the langmores don't have a happy ending. Ruth would have kept her uncles strung along long enough out of fear of her daddy until his felon ass gets out, then his dumbass would most likely get him and one of his brothers killed stealing from someone. Then the other most likely kills Ruth for talking shyt since there's no need to entertain her anymore. The smart one still doesn't go to mizzou, and the young one would probably share a similar fate as his dad or uncles. It's honestly a miracle they lasted as long as they did as a clan
