I started noticing the fall off in this show's writing last Season. You're right. I was watching it because of the investment of time spent to this point to see how things playout. But I was def looking at everything like...



It's similar to Power when it comes to the nonsensical shyt just happening for fan service. I don't think I've seen a drug/kingpin show in this mold where all of the bosses and higher-ups just doing all the dirty work. My nikka Ghost would be proud

The only thing that's good in Ozark is the acting (but even that took a dip in S4 for me, mainly because I didn't really like the Jonah arch that much)

the son, is in over his head, he’s letting his intelligence, emotional immaturity, and parents success, lead him into thinking he knows what he’s doing. Your uncle might have been fun, but he can’t just operate how he wants and thinks folks won’t see bout him, the shyt hit the fan and this wasn’t some situation where his family or sister could clean it up. He thinks because his parents are thriving he can, never realizing the delicate balance of his parents dance, and how many plates they have to keep going. His intelligence has blinded him into thinking he can’t be caught. But the minute he feels any heat he fold like wet cardboard including his parents, and no matter what he should not be folding on them


The wife getting off on this shyt, and she not just surviving she now wants her a piece of the pie, and she’s getting more deplorable

Yeah, this is MCU fantasy status to me at this point. @Bryan Danielson made that call and had Feige give Ruth and Darlene superpowers or something. It's the only explanation at this point

This may be one of the most heart wrenching endings for a series we’ve seen in a while…all likable characters (except javi), but I just don’t see how anyone manages to make it out of this story intact….. like everybody should just drop they shyt and run

Marty isn’t a psychopath. Wendy definitely is. Half the shyt she does he doesn’t even know about. And from the looks of it. Her family been knew she was a little “off”. Marty just tryna survive and save his kids all other shyt is secondary. nikka stuck in fight or flight mode he can go back to normal once shyt is all over. Wendy don’t really want it to be over. She wants power but from a safe distance to where she can’t be touched. It’s a reason other psychopaths like Navarro gravitate toward her.

I for one have been saying stuff about the writing every season. It has gotten outrageous but I've just kind of accepted it for what it is. For example, this season it seems every other day Javi is going from mexico to the ozarks as if its around the corner as if he's not wanted himself being a high ranking member of a drug cartel, it makes no sense.

Also given the fact Ruth is supposed to be a 16yr old making all of these moves. I can go into other seasons as well..

Same for shows like Godfather of harlem where they basically have Bumpy turning into Batman all over harlem, I expect the same things for snowfall next season. The more outrageous the writing gets, that's usually the signs the shows should wrap up..
