sidenote: Is it me or did the actor from Power seem lesser than the other actors on this show. I thought he was easily one of the best actors on Power...but here Maybe its quality of the actors he's against


Then again I still think his best performance was in True Detective season 1.

The 2nd casino was supposed to be a legit operation. A retirement plan/safety net/move into the next life rather there or else where.

the 1st casino sole (failing) purpose was to launder drug money. They projected $90 mill a year.

the 2nd casino could be $90 mil a year, but all new revenue.

On another note:


I legit thought it was 4 seasons, so when the (very predictable) ending happened i was waiting for season 4 episode 1 to load

show is great. For awhile from end of season 2 til last 2 episodes of season 3 they seemed to move away from the organic feel of the Ozarks. I was very happy to see the kc mob, sneed farm, darlene acting crazy, etc basically the essence of the show kind of come back.

not sure if im explaining correctly but they were so focused on Ben(i hated this character was very happy to see his death. But like most great shows theirs always that 1 annoying character you want to reach through the screen and grab em and yell shut the fukk up ) The Casino and Helen that it didnt feel like you were in the Ozarks like the original 1 1/2 season shyt even season 2 i guess. You could of place those characters and dialogue in any city, which kind of ruins the uniqueness of a show like the Ozarks. Was kind of running on fumes on the Ben plot honestly so glad they tied together to have a great season ending episode

basically no mention of the other 4 businesses.. almost no views of the lakes or boats or the actual citizens of the ozarks

think season 4 they go back to that a little


edit: glad im not the only one who felt that way about the Ben arc i only read like 3 posts on the last page before posting

To Ruth’s taste in music.

Charlotte’s character has gotten much better. She started off as a typical annoying teenage brat but is better now, looking out for Jonah too.

Very good season, I liked it better than the 2nd season. The subplot with Ben dragged a bit but the acting was excellent.

To me, acting and plot come first above everything. I dont care for eye-candy. Hell Insecure and Queen sugar were interesting dramas and decent stories and both had eye-candy but Queen Sugar has so many plot holes and horrible and i mean HORRIBLE acting. Insecure has better actors and entertaining enough to be a successful show.

Acting and plot come first for me also but this is an ugly ass show bruh. You can't tell me darlene scenes are easy to look at. She's hideous. Wendy is hideous The lawyer is hideous. Ruth is hideous and her voice is another level of irritating that's gone overboard. The daughter look like a blonde bran starke.
You tellin me they couldnt find one halfway decent person? I know it's the backwoods middle america but damn
