Man... Wendy slowly coming to reality that Ben's situation was hopeless was sad as fukk.

When she walked out the diner knowing that his death was the best option to protect her family and the organization was gut wrenching.

I think dude should get a nomination for that episode because that's exactly how ill people get when they're off the rails. The dialogue in the cab about how he can remember how he used to be before his mind was ruined...

:wow: :mjcry:

He knew he wasn't right, but it's nothing he could do about it without treatment.

That was an amazing performance, and if anyone knows people diagnosed with a mental illness that calls for medication, then you know how real Ben's character is

Just got through 9 eps last night and this morning, talk about bingeing lol

Feel like a LOT of the casino scenes were extremely repetitive especially between Sam and Maya and the casino/FBI storyline was extremely drawn out in general, need to have more locations in Season 4.

Ruth and Darlene teaming up seems too forced, we know thats not going to last and she'll be back with Marty and Wendy by ep 3 of Season 4, guaranteed.

Also, how is Frank Sr. OK with Darlene shooting his son's dikk off, no matter how many millions she gave up to him.

While I'm on this, how many times are people going to do impulsive actions in the show and kick in a percentage after lol, motherfukkers control yourselves!

Felt sorry for Ben, pure simpleton with mental issues but he had a good heart.
When Ruth pulls the shotgun out of the trailer and tells him to get in the truck and when Wendy sees Ben using his phone to call Helen, his reactions were so childlike, hard not to feel for him but God damn why did he not listen?!?!

Lastly, fukk Helen

This show is great for what it is and very entertaining. They pile on the fukkery, and with that you have to suspend belief on some things for the show to actually work and make sense.
  • Feds all in the area and they aren't watching Marty at all times... he gets kidnapped by the Cartel in the middle of a concert
  • Navarro would have killed Marty over the cellphone recordings
  • Ruth gets her ass beat and no surveillance on her?
  • The Byrd kids do community service after the shooting incident? What about the mob kids? They exposing minors to guns, alcohol and weed, shooting guns etc and they just let them go?
  • Ben calls Helen from a burner phone... how? Wendy's phone was in KC
  • Darlene shoots a Mob Boss' son and rolls up on him with no muscle and brokers deals
The acting carries the show, and it makes it easier to just continue on with where the journey is taking you. For as hot as Marty's family is, it should be a lot more eyes on not only his activity but those closet to him.

It’s like power with the constant fukkery

only thing that saves this show is the acting / writing.

This season was gut wrenching. The last two episodes had me fukked up brehs. IMO this has easily been the best season.

There's alot to take in and a bunch of interesting development for next season but I just wanted to say everything that happened this season is directly or indirectly Wendy's fault :yeshrug:

One thing I thought was a little odd:

Marty admitted to Maya that he got kidnapped by Navarro towards the end of episode 5. I thought this was strange since I thought that she said it's grounds for the US to invade Mexico? I'm guessing nothing came of that since it couldn't be proven by the time he confessed.

Man I never seen a show about a criminal Enterprise where they glamorize everything as little as they do on this show.

That's one of the things I like. I was reading a comment and a breh in here was like "this season has been too dark and gloomy"....like getting in bed with a Mexican cartel is supposed to be cute :childplease:

Jesus fukking christ this nikka Ben got me stressed
I don't see how you can hate Ben. Dude was sick. It was honestly more pitiful than anything.

Especially when you knew how it would eventually end
His character and acting was excellent, especially that scene in the cab, but he reminded me of a girl I used to date who had some issues (not bipolar but similar enough). I literally felt my chest tighten up every time he came onto the screen after he ditched his medication. Dude had me stressed and his death hit me hard. I wasn't expecting the emotions he showed, switching from vulnerable to invincible at the drop of a hat like that. It's tough to care about someone with those problems.

True but I kinda like that about the show, it adds a lot of realism that's different from criminal shows. No matter how many moves you make, one slip-up and your life is ruined permanently. They do a good job of showing how stressful that life really is (I assume) if you take the necessary steps to avoid getting caught.

Just finished, and I’m only giving this one more szn :stopitslime:

Before I give it top 5 status :wow: the writing is on a different level and gets better and better by szn. The way Omar took Helen out the fukkin paint :damn::damn::damn::damn: I thought they might pull out my least favorite cliffhanger (what happened/“this situation is unavoidable but we’re gonna make you wait to see the results”) but they did my favorite kind (some wild shyt just happened, and where do we go from here)

Especially since the odds of them killing the Byrdes down there with good enough writing were slim to none. Man if they can tie a good bow up on this in Szn 4 I won’t be able to argue many shows against it
That's my favorite way to end a season to but I never thought about it explicitly until you spelled it out. Good stuff.

btw did she die ? :lupe:
How come they never followed up on...

The casino boat couple and how the wife basically tumbled to her death

I mean, I guess it didn't end up being all that important but it was weird to have such an extreme thing happen with no follow-up.
I think she's gotta be dead, you could hear her head smash against something right before she hit the water and she didn't move a bit. But they literally didn't even address it again and it felt all too easy. They might be playing the long game and that might crop back up next season.
