Official Olympic opening ceremony thread

Honestly, that Industrial Revolution/History of Britain thing they did earlier was one of my favorite things, either ceremony. That was extremely thoughtful and well done.

Overall though, China >>>> Their shyt was too powerful. That was a fukking coming out party for them, their OFFICIAL stamp that they are here and that the Dynasty has returned. The choreography, the spectacle, the singular focus from every individual to make it PERFECT...it's going to take a LOT for someone to beat that.

To be fair, China probably spent boatloads more.

What I respect about Britian ceremony was that they didn't gaf about China's ceremony. They did they own things and did it well. Might not have been better but it was good.

Exactly. I've been reading all about the ceremony for weeks now and I've been skeptical about it thinking we're probably going to embarrass ourselves cause I wanted a similar ceremony to China but I have to say I like the route they took.

Aint ever going to see another Ceremony anything like that EVER.
