The rebels are helping the Jedi and younglings escape. The rebels are made of the people that watched Palpatine take over.

You are acting like the rebels are a bunch of ten year olds like Leia with no connection to what happened and who she believes failed her and others.
There is no rebellion when order 66 takes place yet.
You are watching a shyt tv show written by a person that never watched ep3, so you are confused. Its apparent you dont k ow the canon as well.
So if you arent goong to learn the canon i would suggest you simply fall back on trying to argue.
Suffice to say, the rebels did not exist yet because order 66 was initiated when palpetine granted emergency powers and was carried out immediatly, with anakin himself killing the younglings.
