Obi wan and Anakin sparring was dope as fukk, they even bussed out some of the moves from Episode 3's legendary fight.
Shows that the Vader and Obi wan confrontation in the desert was supposed to be awkward and sloppy
Obi- wan isn't nearly as sharp or strong anymore
But more importantly.
Anakin isn't the fancy ass/ high flying swordsman he once was neither.
He was always aggressive as Anakin but as Vader he's a brute who's technique is designed to kill or maim

It’s crazy and dumb how people first hated on Hayden’s brash take on Anakin but if you look at how Vader acts in the Original Trilogy it fits.
In the OT Vader was very brash, unpredictable, easily irritated, and full of rage.
The very first appearance of Vader he’s choking a Rebel fighter on Leias ship
Listen to the way he angrily says to Leia

The way he said that had me shook as fukk as a kid
