Hope you recover quickly breh, is it safe to be working out a week after?

If it isn't I wouldn't rush things breh.
preciate it b
yea my surgeon told me so before hand

the thing is ive had this shyt for a year now, and Ive been safely working it out to the point when I dont feel any pain and I had 75 percent of my flexibility back

but when i come back im just gon take away the situps and stick to a few bodyweight squats, pushups, pullups, calve raises, and the bike

in a week i hope to add lunges
and in 2 weeks i hope to add the pool

i wouldnt do leg work for another month

elliptical/cross trainer every other day 30-45min

everything else obviously should be fine

your knees are too important for your sports career to rush back into it after surgery so light exercise with light to moderate impact on your joints would be ok

when do yall think i should start swimming again then

its low impact so i would go at it whenever you want

i just think you should ease into things that involve jumping/running for about a month

restrengthen the muscles around your knee with light work

This.

And spend more time stretching than usual. Depending on how your knees are, you can use resistance bands to add a few min. of knee focused stuff, though if you're otherwise doing post-surgery physical therapy, then you've probably got that covered.
