Adam Cole just got pushed to the limit by Pat McAfee... maybe we should start taking things in the moment and in THAT moment alone.

That said, the day Kross killed Mr. NXT it was a matter of time.
I said from the moment Keith and Kross interacted that Kross was gonna squash Lee. Doesn’t change the fact that I believe Keith is a level above Kross in every way

McAfee a corny motherfukker but he made me laugh a couple times. He was actually realy solid in the ring. fukked up the lung blower by jumping too early.

Adam Cole is just the greatest. Could have a great match with anyone. :wow:

Happy for Punishment Martinez

Takeovers suffer more from the lack of crowd than anything else, since main roster shows have had dead crowds for a decade so no crowd at all doesn't make much of a difference, but Takeovers lose a good 70% of the vibe without crowds. A handful of mid carders and below in the crowd ain't it. I also can't believe they keep doing ladder matches with no crowds. I think this is the 5th one across the brands since 'ronamania started. Not really sure about the title scene decisions. Why weren't the tag titles involved? McAfee was about as good as one could hope for a first time non wrestler stunt match. I know he's a former NFL player and all but a retired punter, and a big goof, so his athleticism was pretty surprising in the few spots he showed it off.

The rona fukked the tag division all the way up & they still haven't recovered.

Riddle & Dunne had the belts, but then Dunne couldn't get in the US. They were building the Grizzled Young Vets as their next challengers it looked like, but they also couldn't get in the US. Looked like Dream & Lumis was about to start a team, but all the Dream stuff happened & he went missing. O'Reilly was staying at home until a few weeks ago since he's a diabetic. Fandango was hurt for a while. Bivens debuted his team but they shifted to Riddle & Thatcher since they could give Thatcher a win before moving Riddle to SmackDown.

They haven't figured out what their doing there. There was a few weeks where they built up a Lorcan & Burch vs Imperium match & then just didn't do it & I think stuck Breezango in there.

I still don't get it with Kross yet (but dude's presentation is A-1). Lee is can't miss though.

I assume they are bringing Lee up next week to compete on RAw but I still think this was too soon for Kross. He should of had more feuds and built a character before this and made it inevitable . They may actually have helped them if Kross is out hurt and gives up the belt then let someone like Finn have it

Everything feels rushed as hell.

Adam Cole's legendary title reign comes to an end on a TV episode with 2 weeks of build up. Keith Lee vacates the NA title he held all year but only like 3 defenses against the same 3 guys for 7 months. Then he drops the title a month later to a guy who has only been with the company for a couple of months and had one major match. I think Lee had one defense as NXT Champion, and it was against a guy he had multiple NA defenses against already this year. So Lee ends up a transitional champion to get the belt from a long term heel champ to another heel champ that will probably also be a long term run, because there are no significant up and coming faces to challenge him beyond Lee and the returning Ciampa who was squashed by Kross and already is a 2 time champ anyway who has been through this story already.

Basically Finn Balor is the only guy that seems like he has any momentum and valid challenge to either singles title, but he's been in a holding pattern since February until they can either get him to the UK or Walter to the US to run that match.

Meanwhile the former long term heel champ was in a celebrity match where he was the face and it got significantly more hype than either of the title matches on the card

But it's all part of their long form storytelling. Just let the angles play out, bro. :troll:

Did anyone else feel like as soon as Dream came out the crowd/pc talent got real quiet?

I wonder how everyone there feels about the allegations
