I got sidetracked with spooky shyt and kideo games and I'm only up to day 9 but I have to say while I don't think his matches have been the best, Jay White is definitely the stand out performer of the G1 up to that point. I'm a long time hater of White-O, but he's the only guy that really seems to be in the groove and brings the energy and excitement level (as in his own personal excitement to be back at it in front of real crowds) that is very lacking from the rest of the field.

Name these people then. Ibushi just as good, Okada just had a blassic, Ishii still doing best bout machine tings, Suzuki wasnt even in it last year

What is Jon Moxley not being in it why White 0 shining?

I definitely have not felt Ibushi/Okada/Ishii are where they're normally at in the G1. The energy levels have just not been there. Despite the reduced schedule this year, it seems like everyone is still coming into the G1 all beat to shyt and not going 100%.

Okada has been practically sleep walking through this tournament. Of course dude's half effort is better than most wrestlers' full effort but still, no one is treating this year more as an off-year than Okada does. I'll agree with @stro that almost no one is giving it 100%. I'd say Ospreay tries but he's probably better off doing less considering how insufferable his "character work" is.

Jay White and Taichi are probably the two talents who have really stepped up this G1, mostly because they seem to have finally figured out their character work in relation to their wrestling. I'd say Taichi is about ready to push towards a championship singles run, although I expect Gedo to keep him with ZSJ as tag champs for a while. Jay White meanwhile really needs to lose Gedo, he's holding him back and for no good reason at this point.

I'll put that Suzuki/Ibushi match up w any other match from last year.

So far I think the best match has been KENTA vs ZSJ. Okada vs Ibushi had to be the most disappointing match possible.

i was just speaking the obvious. you tried to sneak-diss me with no tags and a handful of people still dapped you up for that post. i dont know how you were raised, but that chit is gay, and cosigning it is even more sweet. just because i call a spade, it doesnt mean im mad.

The best part is that non of this is even that serious. We've all been called out in this thread for silly shyt, we all laugh, dap each other up, and move on. You gotta be the only person I've ever seen in here get upset about some shyt that YOU did.

Edit: also forgot that if I remember correctly, if you sign up in the middle of the month, you get the rest of that month for free, since Japanese custom is billing at the beginning of the month. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
