Almost everyone as long as he can't stop emoting like a total goof. But it seems clear they are going to push the fukk out of him regardless.

Ibushi/White was better than Ibushi/Okada outside of the finish. And you could tell Ibushi was livid inside when that one forearm produced no sound. :russ:

I don't even have to specify, you can tell exactly which one I mean when it happens.

People said the exact same thing about Omega, and he jazz hands'd his way into becoming the EVP of a company he helped to found, which has clocked a multi million dollar deal already. :manny:

Suzuki is my guy, but I've got to respect Taichi out here on his

And he didn't even need to use Izuka's Infukkery Gauntlet :wow:

Suzuki Gun needs some more hitters though. Outside Suzuki, ZSJ and Taichi - they've only got Douki, El Desperado and Kannemaru.

Mr. Brodie taking over the Lance Archer role post pandemic would be :banderas:

Random thoughts

Day 1

Ospreay has that old Dragon Gate hook up obviously, that bacne :whoa: Very weird seeing him so jacked up. Match with Yuijiro was just average but can't really expect much more.

Taichi/Cobb. Cobb is a step behind even Taichi :patrice: Ok match

Ishii/Minoru. Exactly what I wanted and then some. Minoru might be wrestler of the year actually. I loved how they matched up with the striking and selling, Ishii always has this trademark, delayed sell and Suzuki's awkward bumping is so realistic :wow: So all the strike exchanges were really dramatic. I'm not one to complain about shoot headbutts but it was interesting that following Ishii's one, Minoru did a totally safe, worked one that looked better. Loved that finish too.

Okada/Ibushi. This Okada sub has to GO. It kills the momentum of the match every time he slaps it on. Finishing subs should be applied SUDDENLY. It shouldn't take an elaborate tango to set up. Very average match. Only notable for Kota's god-like save on the hurricanrana :blessed:

Day 2

What the fukk is Juice trying to look like now :mjlol: Okay match I suppose but I can't take Juice seriously at all.

Yano/Sanada. We all know Yano is there to give everyone a night off. Finish was ridicurous but that's the whole Yano deal. I do like that Yano serves as an exact opposite to late 90's King's Road, finish can come at any time :damn:

Tana/Naito. Creaky Tana and his dragon screw :blessed: Thank you Tana and your fantastic hair. :dead: at the destino struggle though.

Day 3

Young Lion/Young Lion. Very slick match. Stiff strikes and boston crabs all round. Dying at how excited the commentator was at a fukking butterfly suplex for the finish.

Cobb/Shingo. Ehhh, alright I suppose. Cobb showed very little in his control segment, a bear hug breh :usure: Shingo got right out of that and tried to keep it moving. Cobb isn't doing much for me.

Minoru/Taichi. Really liked the start of this, very scrappy. Middle was lacking a bit. Reminded me of those Suzuki/Nagata matches where Nagata just lay on the floor getting kicked for 7 minutes straight. Finish picked up again.

Ospreay/Ishii. Loved this. Ishii remains the complete best. The start :dead: I think Cobb may have a heart attack if he tries the same type of sequences with Will. Last false finish was one of the better I've seen in ages. Great match.

Tbh, seeing KENTA as a slow, flabby shell of his former self bums me out a lot more than seeing rickety ass Tanahashi struggling and in pain. He's just....so slow now :francis:
