They're pretty good games. I prefer the old/overhead view of the NES/SNES games over the 3D ones.

Cop the VC releases first if you're hesitant to go in on LBW...the Game Boy zeldas and LttP are worth playing

Been playing Pokemon Go and it's made me think back to my days of playing Pokemon Sapphire on GBA and the original Pokemon (on a GB emulator :lolbron:). I know there's a new Pokemon 3DS game coming, so it got me looking into the 3DS lately.

So, I just bought one this afternoon: the New 3DS XL + Pokemon Y, Animal Crossing: New Leaf (LOVED the Gamecube game), and Super Mario 3D Land.

Fire Emblem Awakening is a great game and good introduction to the series(Assuming it's your first Fire Emblem).

So the New 3DS was a total ripoff if you had a 3DS already. Considering Nintendo's next system is a portable it seemingly turned out to be a whole lot of nothing.

Yeah, I borrowed a 3DS from a friend a few years ago and played that one for a bit. I really liked it. I want to get the New SMB 1 & 2 games, plus Bowser's Inside Story at some point.

Honestly, I haven't been into Zelda since the original NES game and haven't played a Zelda game since Ocarina on N64. I know the games almost always get good reviews, but I'm hesitant to try them. :lupe:
you been losing....losing bad...so missed Zelda 2,LTTP 1&2,Majoras mask,Wind Waker, Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword ? ..... yeah L

Pokémon GO also has me eyeing a 3ds, strictly for pokemon, and kid Icarus (heard it was good)

Just wish I could find one cheap

Kid Icarus: Uprising is phenomenal, easily one of the best games on the 3DS. The New 3DS XL really helps with making Kid Icarus' controls more comfortable, but since you're looking for a cheap 3DS the 2DS is probably what you want.

Do games perform differently on 2ds vs the new 3ds? Aside from lack of 3d.

Other than the form factor differences, the New 3DS(XL) is basically a slightly more powerful(Certain games will run better on the New 3DS(XL) than on the 3DS, 3DS XL and 2DS) 3DS(XL) with the addition of a C stick, ZR and ZL button and a new placement for certain buttons as you can tell in the 2nd picture.

If you want the extra power, SNES games, Xenoblade 3D, the look of the New 3DS(XL) and you don't mind paying more than the New 3DS(XL) is for you. If you don't care about any of that shyt and you just wanna play games than go with the 2DS.

The 2DS performs the same as the old 3DS. There's only one or two games that you can't play if you don't have a New 3DS, neither of which are Pokemon or Kid Icarus.

Better and simpler answer.

Yeah, cheap they are definitely not.

Had me spending so much money, I almost copped a Wii U instead, but I'll wait until the NX comes out and if I can get a Wii U for $150 or less, I might do so.
