That's how I felt.

Looks like its not a long wait for next season. I need to watch again because folks saying its hinted at the last episode that winter 2021 is when the next games start.

On season 8 of Dexter, coming down the home stretch. Show kinda turned into a soap opera and got way too Debra centric. I dont like her at all so these last 2 seasons have been "meh" with her character arc.

Seasons 1,2,4,6 were fantastic.
3 was a bore after Doakes' death
5 was a struggle after Rita's death, not bad though

I have 4 episodes left of season 8 so we'll see how it closes
