Minor spoiler Ruth does not get better as the season progress. I feel the same way about her. Who going to let some skinny white girl talk so tough and get away it? Just not realistic. With that said it's still a good show.

i tried the first ep of Outer Banks... I'll have to pass on watching the rest.
It's not the most nonsensical plot i've ever encountered but I think them being kids and still being able to maneuver the way they have without being caught, killed, or arrested, kinda took me out of it. That sequence at the end of ep 1 with the chase and shooting... shiiiiiiiiiiiiiid
And while the brotha isn't LGBT.. they made him super book smart at the cost of his masculinity. He's your prototypical limp-wristed fourth wheel who can't say more than 2 sentences to a female without embarrassing or emasculating himself.

Avatar: The Last Airbender is on Netflix now (Nick show, not the movie ). I was a big fan of Legend of Korra, but never watched the original series. Added to my queue and definitely plan to go through the series at some point
