I’m currently binging She’s Gotta Have It, they def try too hard with incorporating slang from the 2010s but I don’t particularly feel anything for Nola. It seems they’re having fun making this but Spike plays a heavy hand with his writing and direction, I would recognize it instantly as his work even if I didn’t know there was a movie by the same title (I never saw it).
