Netflix is well worth $8/month. Hell, I pay like $170/month for cable.
Me too
Netflix is well worth $8/month. Hell, I pay like $170/month for cable.
Following up the intense teaser trailer that hit the web last month, Netflix has released two new promo banners for its upcoming awards player, "Beasts of No Nation," that tease the arcs of its central characters. The drama marks the third feature film from writer-director Cary Fukunaga, who broke out last year thanks to his Emmy-winning direction of "True Detective" Season 1.
Based on the novel by Nigerian author Uzodinma Iweala, "Beasts" stars Idris Elba as a ruthless war lord who takes in a young boy, Agu (newcomer Abraham Attah), and trains him to become a child solider. The drama will have its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival and has also lined up a screening at TIFF in September.
Netflix will be releasing the film in 19 select markets served by Landmark Theaters beginning October 19, which is the same day it will become available to stream on the website.
