Mo to End With Season 2 on Netflix

Well at least they gave it a second season. Seems like they would wait to see how it performs before canceling but it’s hard to know what’s going on behind the scenes at Netflix

Netflix cancels shows on purpose. It's their business model.
They need an influx of new shows to 1. get new members and 2. keep the current.

The philosophy is if we keep making new shows they will stay.. and we can only make new shows if we cancel the others and use that money

most shows peak 2-3 seasons ... after that its flat or starts on a decline

I've said it a while back that they should just advertise all their original shows as miniseries. That way if the show is not the hit that they want then they can throw it in the bushes without backlash. If it's a hit they can come out and say they putting out another season. Or go kdrama style, 16 episodes with 1hr+ runtime where 2 seasons is the max and then on to the next project.
