This is looking like Get Out the sequel

:mjpls:
That movie is fukked up. It’s literally a black man getting fukked up, getting shot multiple times, stabbed, with a cast on the whole time running from white folks. Except in get out the main character wasn’t made to look damaged and there was degrees of hints to social and racial commentary. Film was disturbing. Dude can’t act and Denzel would never take a role like that. I’m not hating at all. I really root for dude to have a great career, but it was almost c00nish how he played that damaged negro role. He can’t act. My wife hated it too

Lol thought it was decent. Its exactly what i'd imagine being on the run from corrupt cops in Greece would be like.

I guess . I wasn’t trying to shyt on him. I sincerely hope the best for his career. Just rubbed me the wrong way. And I’m not super militant watching movies or anything lol. But yes i agree the action was cool. Just thought he was acting super damaged negro like.

Tenet: The Next Chapter was entertaining. Kinda dumb and unbelievable in certain parts but it was cool

I saw it very differently. To me that was a role that 99% of the time goes to some random white actor. There was literally no comment or talk about race at all. If anything it made it a little goofy as him hiding/being incognito was a little fake since he obviously stood out. Like the time the guy chasing him asked a worker 'did you see a guy come through here' or something like that. He'd have just asked if he saw a black guy. But if we want black folks to have more of those types of roles that aren't race specific, we can't try to read too much into every script. If they have to rewrite every movie to address blackness on some level it'll just make it harder for black actors to get roles not specifically written for black folks
